As we had finished filming, we uploaded our footage onto the mac and iMovie. The first thing we done was order our shots according to our shooting script, we made sure to refer to this at all times. We then trimmed down our shots to our planned timings, although they were not all the exact same as we had planned, they were near. We made a few decisions of taking out some shots that we feel did not make any impact on our film such as Becca walking to the bathroom. We want our opening to be as exciting as possible so we made sure each of one of our shots added something to our film.
Music...
We also looked for some music for our film, we tried a variety of copyright free websites. We listened to a variety of genres such as rock and dub step, but none that we listened to fitted our film the way we wanted it to. We then came across a slow, acoustic guitar song, here, when we played this with our movie we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. It created the right mood and empathy for our character as we had planned. It is very different from other BSR openings as they usually consist of similar, loud, aggressive music to fit their themes, but our film has a different approach- we want to highlight the vulnerability of Becca's character and we feel this music does just that.
