Production Log 16

We applied the music we found last lesson to our movie, we decided to keep it as it was as it already fitted our footage really well. We made sure it was not too loud so that our audience is still able to hear the dialogue in a few of our shots. The feedback we received from our teachers was really positive, they were left feeling very sympathetic for Becca, they said it was very deep and emotional, which was what we had set out to achieve. We were really pleased with our feedback.

An improvement that was suggested was for the alley scene, where the rapist jumps out at Becca, the teacher said that the long shot did not do it justice. To improve on this, we cropped the shot, so that the grab is a close up, we feel this adds a lot of emphasise on his aggression and her facial expression. It then cuts back to a long shot to show him taking her around the corner. 

Another improvement we were shown was the sound, when we exported our film and watched it on a regular computer, the volume was a lot louder than when we watch it on the mac, so we lowered the volume to a more suitable volume.
