• Kidulthood because of it's interesting story line and characters
• Fish Tank because of it's grabbing story and the struggles the characters are faced with.
• Bend it like Beckham because  of the fact that a girl has to go through the experience of football and the struggle of her parents holding her back.

What do you think of our idea?

We were really pleased with people's feedback on our film idea, they were all positive.

People liked that:

• It doesn't give people a false sense of reality
• It's really creative
• The girl is portrayed as vulnerable
• It shows the real life struggles of what some girls go through daily.
• It raises awareness for something that is common in some people's lives.

What improvements would you make on our idea?

• An age cap should be applied so that young children are not able to view the film
• Make sure to be sensitive on the rape part of your film
• Do some of the bullying behind her back as that often occurs in real life.

Have we portrayed the character as a vulnerable girl compared to films like Juno and Precious?

• Yes you have because you have made her isolated from the real world without making it cliche
• Yes she is very vulnerable because the rape is not her fault.
